Geweldig vervolg, een must voor King Arthur fans

A Song of Magic by Kate Schumacher is the second book in the Grail Cycle and a book I was eager to read as I just loved the first book. This series is a fantasy series about the legendary English King Arthur. As a great fan of this king and the tales about him, I collect and have collected all kinds of books and things concerning this king, I think Kate Schumacher has written a fantastic series.

The story picks up where the first one ended and the story-line made that I had a hard time putting the book down. Secrets are uncovered and in this second book new characters are introduced, such as Mordred and Melodias. The writing style is again great and the multiple stories as seen by different characters are a great asset.

In A Song of Magic you can find all you need to read a breathtaking fantasy story: there is magic, romance, betrayal, humor, adventure, loss and it has a flowing and fast paced writing style, great characters and a wonderful and well developed world. The cliffhanger at the end makes me want to read the next novel now.

As a King Arthur fan I loved how Kate Schumacher made up a whole new world about King Arthur. But this series is also a great read for those readers who love a great fantasy novel.
