Enemies to lovers
The Unbroken Queen by Terina Adams is the story of Tressya, who is trained to be a warrior. Things get out of hand when she gets send away to marry a foreign prince.
The book starts with a lot of action and at the same time the worldbuilding is immediately described. It is a bit much at first, but somehow you get sucked into the story. The writing style is past paced and the dual POV is always a great asset to a story. The main characters are very well described and developed. Tressya is great character, she can hold her own. There is a lot of banter between her and the prince, the book has a slow burn enemies to lovers trope. I also loved the mythology woven into this book.
The Unbroken Queen is a great fantasy story, with a good plot and likable characters, great worldbuilding, a story with a nice flowing writing style, with action, tension, betrayal, political intrigue, a story I liked a lot. I am looking forward to reading the sequel.
