Compass Point by Jillian Witt has a beautiful cover and is also beautifully written. It is a cute romantic fantasy novel about Rose, who lives undercover but comes to learn she has powers that can save the world.
The world Jillian Witt created is beautiful, well developed and described. The setting is fantastic and kind of unique, as is the magic system. Rose is a great character, intriguing, fierce, loyal and has some secrets and a sad past. Luc, the one who seeks her help, is just fantastic. Their adventure and building relationship is really great and they have a wonderful chemistry.
Reading Compass Point was a lovely surprise and I enjoyed reading it a lot. I can’t wait to see what happens in the next book.
