Geweldig tweede deel

In Witch Star by Mandy O’Dell Rossi finally has control of her magic, but she has not seen Drag in months. As she gets lured away from a midnight dance, she finds herself again saving him.

This book was such a joy to read. The writing style is flowing and easy. A lot happens and I could not stop reading, so I read the book in two days.

I just love Rossi. She is a normal person with a deadly power. Drag is still somewhat of a mystery and is determined to find the murderer of his mother, at all costs. Thanks to this, he and Rossi are getting in dangerous situations, but sometimes it is funny as well. And we have Simon to thank for that.
As the story progresses, secrets come out and Drag is someone totally different, although he is a warlock. In the scenes with the King and the evil witch hunter I was holding my breath. Near the end we find out that Drag is keeping more secrets, and there is this unexpected plottwist, which makes me long for the next book.

This series is a really cozy witches series, with some tension, danger, humor, magic, with some unexpected plottwists, and with a nice writing style. I can definitely recommend it.
