Zo mooi en ontroerend (recensie is in het Engels)

First of all, thanks to Hamley books publishing for sending me a copy of this book to review!

Wow, just wow. This book wrecked me! It’s a devastating story about some teenagers who are forced to say goodbye because one of them is terminally ill. You get pulled into the story from the start and I couldn’t put this book down, but I also didn’t want it to end.

One thing I really loved about this story, is how it’s about friendship instead of love. It’s so good to realize the importance of friendship so I’m happy Sam and Jasper didn’t fall in love.

This book is beautifully written from two perspectives. I sometimes thought Sam was annoying because she did certain things, but in the end it all made sense. Speaking of the end, there was a very unexpected plottwist which made the book even better and more heartbreaking. I definitely shed some tears…

I loved this book, it’s definitely not the book you expect it to be. A definite five star read, so please go read this book if you haven’t yet!

I also made a playlist of all the songs Jasper sang just so I could listen to them and pretend Jasper sings them.
