Short, but hopeful
Lover by Sakshi Narula is a collection of poems about heartbreak, loneliness, grief and above all about healing. Narula's writing is personal, intimate and thoughtful. She explores love and the loss of love in a strong way. Her poems are written without shame and regret, which made me feel hopeful and empowered.
The poems are complimented by beautiful illustrations. I read the book in under one hour, so it's a short read. But a good one.
Lover is the first book in The Art of Staying Lost-series. The second book, Lost, will be released in January 2021.
