Volwassen, emotioneel, realistisch en grappige romcom

I loved the book from the first word to the last. As Nick and Swanee said in the story, it has all the tropes a romance story should have ans more. The banter between the main characters, the miscommunication, it all had me laughing out loud.
Swanee had some difficulties in her live that shaped how she sees herself as well as how she views the world around her. She has to come to terms with who she is now.

"She couldn't reclaim who she once was when who she once was no longer existed"

"We break in many different ways but it doesn't mean we're broken."

The writing style was adult, emotional, realistic and still managed to be funny. Julia being the author as well as the narrator made the story become complete, full circle. I just had a lot of fun while listening.
Normally i'm not a big fan of epilogues but this one actually added to understanding the background of the story as well as the forming of the characters.
