Een krachtig verhaal

I have finished reading 'Lijm' (Glue) written by Frederiek Verberg. @uitgeverijpalmslag thank you for the review copy.

I have finished this book really fast, it was so easy to read and it was also a comfortable read. It's written with multiple POV's which I think is a great fit for the story, but I did struggle in the beginning to know which POV I was following.

"Three hearts, one story. But is the glue strong enough?"

This story is about Freeke, Art and Nola. When Freeke spots Nola and she finds a way back in her life, it seems like that causes all kind of feelings, for all three of them. The question is, what this will mean and what they will do with this.

"You see so much more when you just take a break."

I have really enjoyed this book and the background story. It seems to have a deeper meaning about things we all struggle with in life. About having insecurities, about loyalty, about stepping out of your comfort zone. About trust in a situation that's not the social norm and about being brave enough to act in how you feel, instead of fearing the consequences. It's definitely a great story and I wouldn't have mind it if the story was longer. I definitely recommend it and I give it four stars!
