Lezersrecensie
Een leuk en actueel verhaal
I have finished my review copy of 'Te mooi om waar te zijn' written by Charlotte van Vliet.
It isn't a really long story and it reads soo easy, that I finished it really fast. I really enjoyed the story and I love the background story. This is a good example that you not always need a lot to make a good story.
"Better to lose love, than to never have loved."
The main characters Madelief and Joan are two really different persons, but they both seem to want the same. They do not enjoy each others company that much, but they do find out that being different can also be a good thing.
"Better to fall, than to never have jumped."
This story is about insecurities, about comparing yourself to others. Its about what the ideal image is in the current society and trying to rise above. It's about learning what you want and finding out what you need. Its truly a lovely story and I give it four stars.
