You're telling me I have to wait until AUGUST for the sequel??? How???

This was one of the best books I've read in a long time. I laughed, I cried, I had a nervous breakdown and heart palpitations all in the span of 430 pages.

Alessa's character development, her relationships with Dante, her Fonte's and her mentors, the battle, the desperation, the hope, it was chef's kiss.

"Sometime soon she would remember that the world was more than one person, and one death did not erase a thousand lives saved. Someday soon she would feel as though she had done her duty. But not today."

I could not put this book down. And yet I did. I forced myself to stop reading because I simply did not want this to end.
