Lezersrecensie
Disturbingly good

By far one of thé most interesting storylines I’ve read. Not only is it a very emotional story because of mother Corinne who moves further & further away from her children, but the way the story unfolds when the children decide to run away is remarkable. Also suprising was the title, since I chose to read the book because of this reason. “Flowers in the attic” sounds like a peaceful, nice story with lots of cheerful moments & actually, it turns out to be the exact opposite. “Flowers in the attic” refers to the flowers the children made for the attic which they turned into their own “garden” to escape from the small room they were staying in. This story will never get old & it also manages to tear me up every time I read it.
