This time we follow Abby and Daniel. Abby just got divorced and is trying to figure out her newly found single life. Daniel is a famous author and a single dad of daughter Floortje after he lost his wife a couple years ago.
It's summer break and Abby wants to spend her summer sailing on the lake and waters of Friesland. She also finds a job teaching kids how to sail at a kids camp. This is where she meets Floortje and her father Daniel. At first she is not impressed by him, but after spending some time laying next to each other with their boats, they slowly start to warm up to each other.
They both have complicated pasts they need to overcome, but Abby becomes Daniel's new muse for his new book. He can't seem to get her out of his mind, and his daughter gets along with Abby as well.
Abby's ex realized that his new Brazilian girlfriend isn't really looking for love, and he tries to convince Abby that the divorce was a mistake. But with her newly found feelings for Daniel she realizes that her previous relationship wasn't as perfect as she always thought it was.
After a sizzling hot night, they both need to spend some time alone to recuperate their thoughts, and Daniel decides to make a grand gesture.
