Wolf King's Last Witch continues where Wolf King's Keeper ends and is the second book in the Monsters by Midnight series by Elle Lacerta. It follows mulitple POV's to tell the story, like Coda and Kate, Jake and Becca, Daniel, and Mia and Devin.
Kate breaks Coda's curse so he can shift whenever he wants. Daniel took over the power of the northern territory from Coda and calls himself the king now. Kate and Coda are fleeing to stay alive. In the meantime Becca and Jake have escaped the prison of the northern territory and are bound together now through their familiar bond. Mia has escaped the Northern territory and is seeking asylum in the southern territory where she meets Devin one of the princes.
Each of the characters tries to find a way to survive and come up with a plan to defeat Daniel. While all of them struggle with their own situation and love life in the mean time. Kate and Becca find their way back to the coven of witches and meet their grandma. They fight together against Daniel.
Can they beat Daniel? Will there be a war? While the last book finished on a cliffhanger, this one rounds up most of the storylines. There are still some open ends that could be explored in a next book (I don't know if there will be a 3rd, but I'm here for it!)
I gave the first book 4 stars, but I enjoyed this book way better, so 5 stars it is! If you like werwolves, witches, fated mates, found family, royals, court intrigues and multiple povs, then this book is for you!
