Rugby romance
Blindsided by Fake Love by Abby Greyson is a sports romance novel and the story of Beau and Kit, childhood sweethearts who meet after some years in Las Vegas. Beau is a rugby player and when Kit crashed a celebration party, dressed in a wedding dress, he cannot believe his eyes. The next morning, they find themselves married.
This was such a lovely story, and the sport, rugby, was a sport I have not come across in another sports romance novel. Both Beau and Kit are great characters, you can relate to both of them. While Beau wants to be married to Kit, as he has not forgotten her, he does not let that show. When they happen to be neighbours, he gets the chance to win her over. Their interactions are great and as it is a dual POV in this delightful book, we also get to know how they both feel. The writing style is flowing and easy.
Blindsided by Fake Love is a sweet sports romance novel, in which the main characters get a second chance. It is filled with humour, some drama, funny situations and a MMC and a FMC who just belong together.
Recommended, but all Abby Greyson novels are a joy to read.
