Hockey player auction

Hockey Heart by Kate Wilder is the story of Sarah, who has had a crush on hockey player Hayden for a long, long time. So, when she gets the chance to bid at a charity auction on him to get a date, she leaps to this opportunity. But the date is not what she hoped for.

This romance story was such a joy to read! From the very first I loved Sarah. I could completely understand her crush. When the date goes horribly wrong, I felt for her so much. But Hayden has this tough exterior, but he has a sad history and he has to do and does everything to keep his child safe. He can be charming and when he meets Sarah again, he wants to make everything right.

The writing style is flowing and engaging and I had a hard time putting the book down. The story is filled with romance, humour, drama and has a great MMC and FMC, who have a great chemistry. Of course, there are some misunderstandings and twists in the story, which made it all the more interesting.

This lovely and sweet hockey romance story I can totally recommend. I will definitely read more books by Kate Wilder.
