Lovely and Sweet Story

Love Takes A Tumble by Susanne Ash is a sweet romance novella in The Midlife Meet Cute Series. When aspiring author Audrey gets into an accident on a deserted beach, Harrison comes to the rescue. Their meeting is their meet-cute and when they spend more time together, a relationship blossoms.

This novel was lovely to read. The writing style is easy and flowing. Both Audrey and Harrison are nice and likable characters. Audrey has finally decided to become a writer and the story she is working on is about a secret lighthouse and its keeper. That was good thinking by Susanne Ash, because the lighthouse can be a metaphor about finding your light and your way, because Harrison does not know what to do with his life. Both are lonely, but Audrey is a bit hesitant to let anyone in. And I just loved Doris, an old lady who sprouts all kind of wisdom, she is really a sweet character.

Loves Takes A Tumble is a lovely and sweet story about two people who are finding each other in an island setting, a great and enjoyable novel to read in one sitting.
