The best series ever!

When I started reading Sword of the Seven Sins by Emily Colin, the first book in The Seven Sins series, I had no idea that this series would become one of my favorites. Through Siege of the Seven Sins, the second book and now Storm of the Seven Sins, this series is one of the best series I have read. And I have read many.

Storm of the Seven Sins starts right after the conclusion (cliffhanger) in Siege. The Executor has escaped and Eva and Ari want revenge and also find Eva’s missing mother. From the very first page we get thrown into the action. Thanks to the fantastic fast paced writing style I simply could not stop reading. This is a book that has got a hold on you, from the first page until the very last.

Eva is a terrific character, fierce, loyal and wants revenge, but she also wants to protect people, especially Ari, and therefore she is willing to sacrifice herself if it should come to that. She is also very stubborn and sometimes I wanted to yell at her. Ari is a great warrior, fierce, and loves Eva and he is someone who will burn the world to keep her safe. His loyalty and love shines through every action and words.

Eva is the same, but for somewhat other reasons. They are characters you root for and they just jump off the pages. They are destined for eachother, even as Sebastian, Eva’s would be mate, thinks otherwise. He is sometimes not a very likable person. He has a big secret and during the story we learn more about him. The other characters come across great as well. When you root for characters or hate one (if you have read the books you know who I mean), that is a sign that the author has done a terrific job. The worldbuilding which started in Sword is fantastic, as is the magic system. Both are described wonderful. The dual POV is amazing, you can just feel every emotion Ari and Eva go through.

Storm of the Seven Sins is a fantastic conclusion to a great series, with a lot of action. There are also unexpected twists and turns. In this series you find everything you need: it’s a rollercoaster of emotions, with fantastic characters, a flowing, fast paced and mesmerizing writing style, there is romance, betrayal, magic, a love triangle which makes you root for Eva and Ari (sorry, Sebastian), a forbidden love, star crossed lovers, reunion, fantastic shapesfifter magic, and so much more.
