Wat een heerlijk boek

Welcome To Fae Cafe by Jennifer Kropf is the story of Kate, who accidentily kills a rude customer in the cafe she visites. But this person is not human, and some fierce Fae assissins will come hunting her.

From the very first page I liked this story a lot. Kate is such a nice and likable character, she loves to read (!) and likes to be invisable. The writing style is wonderful, with a dual POV, so it is more interesting. The Fae hunters are fierce assassins, and I loved the way Jennifer Kropf let them live and work in the human world, and sometimes it is hilarious. They take everything for granted, have no humor, but thanks to Kate and other humans they adapt. Cress, the Prince and leader of the assassins, is great, and they all struggle with the human world.

It is a wonderful and very surprising book, a kind of cozy fantasy novel, with fantastic characters, witty banter, humor, magic, and a fast and lovely flowing writing style.
