Ash princess

This is the first part of a new epic fantasy trilogy. As always it’s about power abuse and suppression of the population which is enslaved in gemstone mines with special powers. But the mines caused a lot of madness followed by the dead.

Theodosia is the last member of the royal family that survived the invasion however she lived as a prisoner in her own castle. Her mother was murdered right before her eyes when she was 6 years old. When rebels showed any kind of resistance, the princess got many whippings on her back during the last 10 years.

The enemy gave her the name Thora and during important events in the castle she must wear a crown that lost a trail of ashes in her face in order to humiliate her. But then she met an old friend. Together they tried to make plans to escape and how she can help her people…
