Fun cowboy romance!
If you enjoy Lyla Sage or Elsie Silver, you’ll likely enjoy this! Wrangled Love is a really fun and spicy cowboy romance story. Thank you Ann for foraying into this subgenre!
In this story we meet Jensen and Briar. The two basically grew up together in the small town of Bluebell, but Jensen had since moved away to the big city while Briar stayed behind to work at the farm she grew up at. When an unexpected situation brings Jensen back to Bluebell, the two reconnect and sparks start to fly.
I adored the setting. Drop any story in the middle of a ranch in a small town and I’m hooked already. Add some fun and kindhearted people into that setting and I’m completely sold. I adored these people so much, they could have been doing nothing but take care of the animals and farm chores and I would have been happy to read it. Thankfully though, a lot of excitement does come into play in this story, but never to the point where it stressed you out. Which I very much appreciated.
The side characters were amazing too. The group chat Briar had going with her girlfriends was probably my favorite thing. They had me laughing out loud a few times.
Probably my favorite book by this author so far!
