Enemy to lovers champion

I finished reading 'Sink with me' written by Trin Savage. This is a dark military romance and the first book in the 'Chaotic Love' series.

"Keep on swimming, little fish. I'll catch you soon enough. I just hope my hook doesn't cut too deep before I get the information I need."

This story was really surprising to me and also very unique. It took a bit for me to get into the story, but when I was in it, I was really in it. I didn't want to stop reading. Some parts were a little hard to understand, but it didn't make the story less fun to read.

"If you're a walking machine, the most dangerous thing can't hurt you: other people."

This story is about Caspian and Cornelia. Caspian is part of Depth and Cordelia of Bay. They are part of different 'factions' and they are in war with each other. They hate each other, but it's not just hate, it's obsession.

"A boy will let these demons haunt him; a man will feed them to the sharks and move on."

I love reading a good 'enemies to lovers', like a lot of my fellow book lovers. And this story is the champion among 'enemy to lovers' stories. It's full of tension, adventure, action, fear, strength and so much more. With a love story that's insane.

"I just know it's easier to die for someone than to live for them."

This story is strong and it's actually written with a military style at the beginning of every chapter. Giving it an extra charm. These aspects in combination with trauma and still trying to find some light along the way make a story very enjoyable to read. I give it four stars.
