For the little girls who were told to put their fires out. Burn them all to the f*cking ground
I mean, with a dedication like that you can’t go wrong can you? Seriously though, if you love dragons, Scotland, Romantasy and are in desperate need of some female rage, read this book! I truly loved it and think it’s a must read!
The FMC displays tremendous growth and holds her own in a crumbling matriarchy where men are trying to take over.
Expect lots of frustrations concerning that, the way men view women. But also a true haters to lovers to haters story! The tension is real!
And ofcourse the dragons, the dragons. I don’t want to spoil anything, but it’s amazing. Expect lots of banter and also female vs male tension.
So why not 5 stars? I sometimes missed a bit of world building. The world that is created is beautiful, but sometimes I just didn’t really get the relationship between territories. But I believe that will be included in the second book! So I can’t wait for that.
