The adventures of Jeeves without Bertie Wooster

I have seen better cover illustrations on this justly many times reprinted book. Nontheless it does the contents of the book justice. Two gentlemen withe a very supicious moutstache, one of them wearing a tie covered in blue horseshoes and an eye-patch.
Suprprisingly one of them appears to be Jeeves, best known butler in the world. But, as explained early in the book, without his master Bertram Wooster.
In this novel, the place of the blundering aristocrat is taken over by Bill, the owner of a very wet castle. The setup is to sell this hideous thing to a rich american woman, but...
Blundering idiot of service is his brother-in-law who ruins all devious plans just by opening his mouth.
Of course Wodehouse makes sure that all ends well but the battle to reach the end is as usual hilarious, inventive and full of surprises.
