I,ve met Grady Hendrix whilst reading "How to sell a haunted House " and fell in love with the way he fabricates a story.
The novel "Horrorstore" sat in my bookcase way to long. It was on my TBR books but I buy books whenever I can so the TBR pile got bigger and this book seemed to disappear, making it's way to the bottum.

The story is about a a giant store much like the Swedish kind where things go bump in the night.
When opening the store in the morning staff members find that things are not quite okay; dirt on the floor, soiled beds etc.
One manager appoints two other co workers to join him in an nightly sweep and serveance of the property.
These two reluctandly agreed and for the next 8 hours they will fight for their life as they come to face unspeakable horrors.

The book it self reads as an catalog you find in the big blue and yellow swedish kind.
It has the same format and layout only here it is called " ORSK ".
Even the furniture have names like "LIRIPIP" and "HUGGA".
If you flip through the pages you will find 17 drawnings of furniture and you start to notice that from drawing 11 there is something terribly wrong with them.
The pace of the story is wonderfull with enough twist and turns for you to holler.
The main characters are relatable even as the store ORSK. Grady Hendrix is spot on in his description of this place. Weve all been to the Swedish store and the concept of ORSK is exactly the same.
Grady Hendrix holds the reins of this story firm and guides you to an amazing exciting climax.
Be sure to read the epilog; the story has not quite yet finished.

I had a blast with this book and gave it 5 stars.
