In The Wolf King, we follow Aurora. She's a princess and about to marry a rich lord for the sake of her family. But when she attends some cruel entertainment her father is hosting, she captures the eye of a powerful Alpha. He believes Aurora is the key to stop the brutal war between men and Wolves and kidnaps her.
There's a forbidden and dangerous attraction between them. Aurora starts to believe not all Wolves are bad but she's in great danger amonst them. Will she ever get back home? And will she want to?

I loved this book so so much. Scottish Alpha saves/kidnaps Maiden/Princess? SAY LESS.
Big applause for the male narrator btw if you feel like trying the audiobook. I know we all love it when the mmc growls, but a Scottish one?!

"You're a devious little thing, aren't you?"

Before you think this is just a vibesy spicy omegaverse novel. It is not. The story was well written and well thought out. There’s a LOT going on. The story twists more times than a Scottish mountain river and I could not put it down.

"I think I would prefer someone who looked like a monster to one who was adept at hiding it."

If you have a thing for possessive and protective men in books: Callum might be the definition. Aurora is a sheltered princess but her heart is fierce and I really love her character and how she discovers the world beyond the castle walls. Was I imaginatively side-eyeing her remarks when there were no servants to tend to her needs? Obviously. But it totally fit her character and the life she knew!

Do not sit on this series. We all deserve a little wolfish fun. Oh and the love triangle is done SO WELL. I think this might be my favorite way I’ve ever encountered it tbh.

Read if you love:
- enemies to lovers
- wolves
- princess fmc
- love triangle
- forced proximity
- protective mmc
- forbidden romance
