Collection 1

Having read the Insomnia series and her Dutch 'Schimmenwereld' Series, I became a fan of Lynn's work.

The Kissing Monsters series - I bought the paperback which is a collection of the first 4 - started like a sweet little love story between a monster and a girl.
To be honest, it took me a while to get into the story, mainly because it is so focused on them, their bond/connection and so zoomed in. Starting the second story, it became clear why the first one was so focused an intense. It had to be for I needed to understand the way Kiss 'works'.

Books 3 and 4 were page-turners, the story unfolding, getting darker, and diving deeper into the world of monsters and Gifted Ones. The end of book 4... I cannot wait for the next collection!
