Dissappointment
This is volume 3 of the legendborn series. This was a DNF at page 260 of 650 for me. So please don't scratch this of your tbr if you liked one and two. Try it yourself.
I read one and two a couple of months ago and where I had no trouble getting back into the story before, this time it was really hard.
Bree left with Erebus, who is the Hunter, the shadow King. She made a deal to save Sel. A lot of new characters and demonkind are introduced in the beginning of the book. Way too much new information for me, it was quite hard to grasp everything. I felt overwhelmed.
We skip back to the legendborn through the eyes of William and Mariah. These parts were nice, because I know them and feel invested.
I put the book down often and started up again. But after about a third I really couldn't anymore. I have many more books on my tbr that sound nicer.
