Lezersrecensie
Een fijne verbetering tov deel 1!
Luckily, I ended up loving this one way more than Not in Love! Reading about Maya and Conor was so much fun. I loved their messy, painful romance. It was sweet, it was hot, it was problematic (yes, it was). And the cave scene? Hot as fuck!
I also loved the throwback scenes. They were so cute and it was so fun to read about their adventures, phone calls etc. And hello? The destination wedding in Italy was so fun!
One more thing I appreciated was that this book didn’t dive too deep into the STEM topics. That made it feel more relatable and much easier to read.
That said, I do wish we’d gotten Conor’s POV. His character felt a little bland, and since he was so fixated on the age gap, I would have loved to know more about why he felt so strongly about it.
Overall, this was a great summer romance read, and I’m happy to say I enjoyed it way more than Not in Love!
"If you want me," I say simply, "you should have me."
