Another Carley Fortune book that I loved
Okay guys, another Carley Fortune book that I loved! I didn’t fall quite as hard for this one as I did for ESA and OGS, but it was still such a good read.
The setting was perfection. It takes place partly on Prince Edward Island and partly in Toronto. And again: Carley really knows how to write a backdrop. I need a one-way ticket to PEI right now!
Lucy and Felix were absolutely adorable together. I loved their situationship, the yearning, the teasing, and all their fun and sweet summer moments.
I also really enjoyed the spicy scenes. They were sexy without being overly detailed. And yes, the bathroom scene was hot as hell.
Another thing I adored was how Lucy and Felix regularly sent each other little gifts like the books and flower seeds. It was just too cute. And Felix supporting Lucy’s farm dream was so sweet.
What I didn’t love as much was how Bridget summoned everyone without explaining why. Lucy dropped everything for her, and Bridget made her wait about a week before sharing what was going on. That felt a bit frustrating.
But in the end, Bridget really grew on me, and when Lucy and Bridget had to say goodbye at the airport, I almost cried.
All in all, this was another amazing summer romance from Carley Fortune!
