Review of:
Always in deepest secret
The title hides the biggest secret of all….
To some a burden of shame but to others a suffocating sniper interfering in blooming lovelives, love between the most beautiful souls alive, love that is thorough, welcome and real.
Love that should not be hidden because some of mankind cannot handle it.
The kind of love that should not be denounced by those who experiance the same hidden desire.
Sure enough no criticisim by the one that first cradled you in their arms.
They should offer you a warm shelter no matter what.
Every living soul has a right to love or to be loved no matter how or by whom.
For everyone is a Pearl in Gods hand.

Reading method:
I received a review copy from Sophie Ester in exchange for my review.
Publisher:
Amazon , Bookmundo
Genre:
Romance mentally going deep.
Cover and blurb:
A silk fabric with a red line. Flowers laying on the silk. I like it. It looks as if beauty and serenity meet.
The blurb is both informative and devastating.
Quote:
Chapter 1 Awful days
The coffee tastes bitter.
I grab another packet of sugar and mindlessly sprinkle it into the dark liquid. The next sip still tastes bitter. A little annoyed, I look around. For many in this company, the sadness of a moment ago already seems to have disappeared. The laughter and pleasant conversation have returned. But, here and there I can see some people crying and, strangely, that comforts me. It proves I’m not the only one feeling so lost, so sad. When someone holds out a bowl of bread to me, I refuse. How on earth can I eat? I’m mourning… Robert is dead.
Robert, that was the guy I grew up with. Robert, who, after all these years, was, once again, my dear friend. He was that free spirit, and, also, that loose cannon... Robert is no more and I miss him so much.
Beautiful texts:
“We must be willing to get rid of the life we’ve planned, so as to have the life that is waiting for us” Joseph Campbell
The story:
Hilda had left to start a new life.
She had married a man who was handsome and exciting and he'd promised her the world.
When that world came crashing down, she returned to her home town.
Not to lick her wounds but to rebuild.
Robert was there to welcome her back.
Then he was gone. Cruelly taken.
But he left something for her.
Something that would change her life.
A story about loss...lies...secrets. A story of prejudice and hate. A story of love, forgiveness and redemption.
My reading experience:
From the moment I started reading I found myself in the middle of this story. It is a very visual story. As if I was constantly in the same area as the characters.
Hilda immediately found herself a place in my heart. All things catastrophic that can happen to people in live seemed to have hit her hard. But nevertheless she keeps finding ways to go on with her life. Like all characters in this story I got to know her well. She touched me deeply just beeing the woman she was.
Some characters got me into a deep and tight connection while others just came to visit and then left again. The interaction between the characters is believable. Some go trough an immense development. At first they seem fragile and as the story moves further towards the end they turn out to be quite self confident and strong.
That I did not get the whole solution of the mystery of this story makes this a constant fascinating and exciting read. There had to be a very good readon for me to quit reading. When daily live needed me I constantly had the characters in my mind. Wondering what they were doing. And if I could read again I easily went on reading again.
Also the atmosphere is very well described. You feel chillness in your body the moment the story shifts to that. This is a raw, heart gripping, tragic, devastating, mind blown and intense story. Love is all main subject. It is to be found in love for parents, a friend, a neighbor, an animal and love at first sight. And expectations that are put on a high level for someone you see as someone you can show off with around friends and family. To make you proud. Highly educated and successful at work. And better than all the rest is the main goal.
But when live standards, a different point of view, someones orientation, someones conviction, someones passion differ is that accepted or not? And everything mentioned here is described in a very impressive, profoundly layered, mentally creeping underneath your skin and touching your senses.
A story that only lets go once everything has been read. A story that shows many layers of live. From happiness to sadness, from mysterious fog to total clearity. From stubborn quarreling and gossip to listen carefully to someones story and from there foregivness and renewed friendship.
The road to the plot is one with heavy obstacles to be taken. The plot itself lets all storylines come together. The epilogue is the icing on the cake.
My opinion:
I rate this book with 5 stars because:
There is a strong and believable character build up.
Because of the very visual writing style I did not read this book but was part of it.
It touched all my senses and went underneath my skin.
The story unfolds in mysterious ways and slowly reveals more. That makes you keep on reading because you want to know everything.
The road to the plot is one with heavy obstacles to be taken. The plot itself lets all storylines come together. The epilogue is the icing on the cake.
This story is worth to be read by readers and deserves an honest review.
